I have no idea, a lot of the mid-carders around here just seem to be referring to a "Pete" that doesn't seem to be you quite a lot lately. I think it might be catinacooker or someone like that.

I'm well known for playing moves with little/no though and rapid play at a 20 mins for all moves time limit is a favourite of mine, but at more conventional time limits such as 40 moves in an hour and a half followed by an extra 30 minutes for the remaining moves I do take my time, I do concentrate, and I do become very difficult to break defensively - unbeaten in the Scottish League at such time limits because of that (ok, so I only played 3 games, but they were all against far higher rated opposition)

I'd be up for it if we weren't taking it seriously, being its been at least a decade since I won any competitions (or, in fact, played)

Ach that's not an issue - I'm better at the theory than in practise anyway - I've got loads of potential but as long as I'm playing too fast I'll never reach it. Tis for fun this idea
