Until this thread, that was the gayest thing I had ever seen. | And now you have included yourself in the "the gayest thing" you have ever seen.
You really are going to have to try and top that now, hope your friends friend is free.

I was planning on going into town drinking around this time, I may avoid it and keep to somewhere you lot shan't be. now unless when of you put out.
I'll put up with anything but fats and gingers.
Although my flatmate loves the Solid, so I can ass him off onto you lot and go do my own thing.

I'm trying to work out if it's one of these "My Auntie gave an Arab guy his wallet back and he told her to stay away from *_________* on the 3rd of May" efforts.

no going on the subcrawl cos am busy earlier in the day, and know that new folk and stuff might be a bit scared of a huge group of forumers who all know each other so thought i'd ask if anyone else fancied it.

Or it could just be coincidence. Fat pink-haired men probably bum goths in lofts all the time. |

One guy once suggested going drinking with them for a day, but I don't think his crazy logic will catch on. |

| Re: Scared of the subcrawl? Yes oddly enough we had noticed.
Theres a slight difference to someone who joined the forum in 2001, and who has probably had a conversation/argument with pretty much all the forum regulars and might recognise them on a night out, and someone who has only been here for a few months and has only talked to a few people.
It just makes more sense, to me at least, to go where the people that I would like to meet are going.
No one is "scared of the subcrawl" we have just been given another option that we prefered.
Personally I think it would be feckin' great if the whole forum went to the zoo instead.

booze makes things easier. but if you want to continue being social rejects and pushing away the option to make many new friends, by all means, continue. |

I would rather not be in a huge group of drunk people I don't know.
If we were pushing away the option to make new friends we wouldn't be going out at all, so really your point makes no sense either.

| Re: Scared of the subcrawl? Even with out the drunk part it is still a huge group of people I don't know.
I can see why it would seem anti-social but it's a personal preference.
I would rather start out with something smaller.

| Re: Scared of the subcrawl? Apart from anything else, the subcrawl is a fucking blast. That's the main reason you should do it.
But, aye, it's a much better way to get to know tonnes of people than sitting in a pub all afternoon. Once you've braved The Grapes together: pals for life.
