| BBQ on the Beach! - Monday 25th May Awright, a few peeps on here had hinted at doing something this coming monday and Shug, Tony Rikki and I have a couple of BBQs and meat courtesy of Shugs maw, so we are probably gonna batter to the beach...
Anyone want to come?
We were thinking the nicest beach would probably be Irvine beach but a few people mentioned Balmaha or Balloch or whatever so we're easy.
Probably take a football, frisbee, bat and ball etc and make a day of it.
Wherever is easiest for most folk.
G'wan, could be a pure hoot of a sunny day oot!!

| Re: BBQ on the Beach! - Monday 25th May Balloch or Balmaha rather than Irvine. Actually, what about Luss? There's a decent beach there.

| Re: BBQ on the Beach! - Monday 25th May Largs is good fun. We can get a game of mini putting. And hang beside the beach with ice cream. I love Largs.

| Re: BBQ on the Beach! - Monday 25th May Awright, if people want to make it Balloch or Balmaha, just say. Obviously we want it to be as easily accessible to everyone as possible. I'm guessing Balloch would be easiest, aye? There are trains that run straight there and although the beach may not be the best, there is a massive grassy area to sit and chill, play ball etc.
Maybe after a few people decide on where they'd like to go/where's easiest to get to, a mod could change the thread title? ("BBQ at Balloch" or something)
Should be a good laugh!
Also, even though there is no beach at Balloch, there is a cool wee opening to the water for whoever wants to get wet or for anyones dogs to cool down (Linda, Robert, Lizzie, I'm lookin at you guys)
Shug, Tony, Rikki and I will no doubt stay together sunday night (kinky) and head out to where we are going first thing so we should secure a nice area for everyone (just in case it's pure sunny and mobbed)
G'wan, you know you wanna, yer all welcome!
