You need only look at Sharon. One of the biggest war criminals out, responsible for the mass genocide of palestinians when he was an army general and for hiring the Phalangists (fascists basically) who were recruited, trained, armed and paid by Sharon as defence minister to invade the Palestinian camps and wipe out all people there like in Qibya.

In short Israel 'gets away with it' cause its part of the super powers and has created this buzz that it's right vs wrong...'us vs the terrorists' basically. Which ties in nice with their ethnic cleansing policies from days of yore (the last 52 years)
