Why are bald heads shiny? My (largely) hairless face doesn't sparkle with invitation to dine from it. I shaved once and still wasn't shiny (so tiny wispy hairs aren't shrouding a glossy finish). If it's sebum, are bald heads slimy to the touch?
EDIT: Forget it, actually. I don't want to know what these sick bastards are doing.

I'm more alarmed at the hideous clumsiness of the language used by the BBC here: Quote:
