I thought it was a bit art project/bit science project.
The art side brought in folk wanting to work with it and maybe got a few more volunteers into the game and the science folk got the practice and results out of it. | |

Aye, but the science is well and truly solved already—this is existing technology. The scientists involved are acting as contractors/technicians, producing what the artists/designers ask them to. | |
