How much did it cost her? I think mine cost the government £8,370 (fees) and £42,480 over 3yrs (stipend)..and I can't put a price on the blood, sweat and tears. | |

But that wasn't three years study, she just wrote that lot of shite, posted it off with a cheque for £7K and, there you go, she's an academic doctor.

Mine is costing £49,200 in total. From the medical research council, cancer research UK and Dundee Uni's oncology department.

The MRC had put up a certain amount of cash to the department for a PhD student, the department asked CRUK if they would pay the rest but they only paid some of the rest. The department coughed up the odds.
It led to no end of bother with actually getting my money sorted out. All of the financial secretaries were confused by it which led to me being skint as fuck for many weeks.
