its not a great album, alright in some respects pretty gash in others
As I type this I'm catching up on some work and listening to Weezer (the blue album).
Is their last record any good? After hearing the Beverly Hills single I totally went off them. Still, their last gig at the barras (a few years ago now) was ace.
If you want to destroy my sweater...
I got really back into the first two albums a couple of weeks ago, they're still amazing. After that, I'm not so sure. The albums from Green onwards have had their moments but on the whole have been a bit pish. Although I'm basing that on Green and Maladroit, I haven't even bothered with the newest one.
The gig at the Barras was awful. Sound was shit, no personality on stage. And i like Weezer
I don't love you anymore. Goodbye - Alice Ayers
Aye, the gig a few years ago was a snore-fest.
Hell no.
Mark E. McKeown: I will NOT be graceful, I will SHOW MY WORKING.
Clear Air Turbulence: The best hardstyle money can buy.
Bunny & The Misshapes: Really?
Was Barras 2003/4? I saw them at Leeds in 2002 and loved it, but probably just cos I'd been waiting so long to see them (they cancelled Leeds 2001) and was just happy that I'd finally seen them play.
really from the outset that question's biased.
...it's assuming Weezer were EVER good

"I'm a hopeless romantic, you're just hopeless" -
Me biased? Always!
I love all of Weezer's albums, apart from the last one, which was awful!
I like the last album a lot more than Green or Maladroit and I'm more likely to listen to it than Blue and Pinkerton because I've played them to death.
'Beverly Hills' really isn't indicative of the sound of the record!
Why don't you listen to it and see if you like it rather than asking the internet?![]()
