we do gigs in aberdeen (last fri every month in drakes) and glasgow (every couple of months in Stereo)

we also do a webzine and fanzine, where we review/interview/ etc etc great music

send demos and the usual stuff to

If anyone would like to contribute or update info in this thread I'm sure everyone would appreciate it. I've been meaning to if I could find the time. It still amazes me how many scottish bands think they're in a big race to get signed with others and who are extremely reluctant to share info. Or even just to let us know that the list has been of use / your experience of contacting promoters etc around Scotland/UK. cheers.

GFN? Promotions can be contacted via welcome_to_joetown_punk@hotmail.com, house_of_flies666@hotmail.com or our forum at http://www.aberdeen-music.com for putting on gigs in Aberdeen. We have a regular night at The Moorings Bar on a Saturday and we've been putting on gigs at the Tunnels and other venues as of late.

Been a few months since been on it but everyone seemed to be dissin "The H".

From a promoters perspective, a man that advertises your job on a hand written A3 on the venue windows, while your still working there! is not the man who I'd want to work with
Heard nothin but BADDD SHITT!

Sounds no bad in the place though... and stage size is above average for a small venue.... aw fuck!

Chances are I'm just pissed cos he arranged to meet me 3 times and never turned up.

Who knows?!?
