The Twa Tams in Perth was recently sold to Belhaven, so Stuart Hutton is no longer in charge of bookings there - rumoured that there won't be any more gigs there either. Not sure what's going on at Drouthies now either cos they're having downstairs gutted. Jacky left months ago.

Nope It may lose its late licence. That won't affect bands playing. Its an ace venue with a brand new soundsystem..Come n play on the same stage as Nirvana did...
Licence hearing is in January. Bastarding cnuts complaining from the flats the built right next to the Studios..I mean buy a flat next to a nightclub then complain about noise...DOH!!!!

Not at all. The notion that we're somehow all competing with each other should be smashed. Good music needs to be heard. End of story.

i totally agree, i always like it when bands help each other out. sometimes when talking to alot of bands ye get the feeling they are only out for themselves and shit and getting signed/mentioned/gigs is the be all and end all.

end of the day, its a load of like minded people playing alternative music... and that makes us all the same
