Anybody thinking of going to see the film The Passion? I've heard it's more violent than Kill Bill. Or am I not supposed to joke about this kind of thing? If it keeps raking in the money then every major studio in hollywood will be doing their own religious flick. Tom Hanks as Jesus? It could happen... I liked Eddie Izzard's take on religion: "But Dad, I don't wanna go back down there. They crucified me the last time. It didn't go well". "Yes son, but you made so many mistakes, like dying at easter - the biggest pagan event in the calender." "And don't be so dramatic." "what do you mean?" "Well, the whole 'drink this wine, this is my blood' thing, couldn't you just have said 'drink this wine, it is a merlot...?" "OK Dad *sheepish grin*" |
