Fickle Public tonight! / Biffy Clyro in Aberdeen last night...

...was really great. They put on a really good light show too (for a rock band, we're not talking about Orbital here) which I'd not seen since watching the super furries in leeds many moons ago. Biffy still get their biggest crowd reaction from the more poppy singles from Blackened Sky and given how young the crowd was it does beg the question how far they're gonna take their post-hc direction without alienating the people who obviously want to like them more. LP #4 should be very interesting.

Glad my request for your opinion was fulfilled. No mention of HIFH though... 8/10 for effort (dropped an extra point for shameless gig promotion )

I like HIFH, which is why I *didn't* mention their performance last night. Hope the rest of the tour fares better for them.

I'm not actually! (All a matter of finances and having seen them a ridiculous number of times but now its the actual day kinda wish I was).

Hmmmm. Sorry things seem to sound pear shaped but you should know by now that's the norm around here. (not exactly comforting words I know)
