(read this on a music industry msgboard, made me laugh)
If you send them a demo, they probably won't listen.
If they listen, they probably won't like it.
If they like it, their boss probably won't.
If their boss likes it, something else will probably put them off, unless everyone else loves it too.
If they sign it without a buzz, they won't be able to create a buzz so it will be very very difficult to break.
The odd band has come through the needle haystack route (Coldplay for example) but you are much much better forgetting about record labels for now and getting your band to the point where they can't ignore you. |
