Right, seeing as Stu has realised resistance is futile, we should probably plan this or something.

The actual music, practicing, etc, that will magically take care of itself, so let's put that to one side.

Nah, seriously Stu, don't worry that you haven't picked up a guitar in three years, I now have four hands and I've borrowed one of Rick Nielsen's axes.

I wanna open the whole thing with the Chevys to fulfill my above promise to Stu. Then, y'know, someone else. A forum band or some pish. Then if Dave's serious and the 'Kicks are gonna be able to play, that'd be the best third act since 'Macbeth'. Then an incredibly under-rehearsed but somehow bloody brilliant Minus 3 to close proceedings. Then drink. Lots of drink.

So... Where? And when? Somewhere that isn't the 13th Note would be amazing. I wonder if Box or one of those other free places would let us have the place for the night to do with as we please. Could we feasibly do the Barfly? The sooner we know and actually get it booked the sooner the rest of the pish will fall into place as deadline looms.

Also, someone find me a copy of '101 Damnations' so I can finally learn the fucking thing. I can play hardcore now!

I spoke to Scruff today at Arc. He seemed pretty up for this assuming of course that we can satisfy his 1k fee and provide a private trailer for him to meditate in pre-show. Fucking rock stars, eh?

He also suggested Sleazys. I've never actually played there. It's about £130 to hire it. Doable?

I'm undergoing Rocky-esque training in preparation for this. Except instead of running up and down snow-covered mountains I'm just drinking lots of coffee and smoking a gazillion cigarettes a day.
