| Re: My holiday to the motherland I played some Guitar Hero last night to prepare for this. :Uhoh:
We should throw on some 80's-era Crue costumes and call it the "Too Fat For Love" reunion show. |

| Re: My holiday to the motherland Haha this will be amazing, Black rat death squad should be on the bill as it features a pencilhead, an alpacino and a cunt thats played with every glasgow band ever.

| Re: My holiday to the motherland I was born to sing that fucking song, but only if I can sing it directly to my favourite American. Quote: |
I wanna walk with you Joseph out on the wire, cos babe I'm just a scared and lonely rider... I gotta find out how it feels... I WANNA KNOW IF LOVE IS WILD, I WANNA KNOW IF LOVE IS REAL!
| Although it'd be better if the lyrics were 'I wanna walk with you out on the wing'. Get it? Nevermind.
Greatest thing I've ever seen in my life was a drunk guy at the Garage requesting 'Born in the USA' and getting 'Born to Run' instead and being totally unprepared for the wordiest song in the history of Rock and Roll. His pain sustains me to this day.

| Re: My holiday to the motherland This is the real reason the internet was invented, have you thought about the spirit bar, the sound is terrible, but its free hire and spirits cost less than a pound for a double. |

| Re: My holiday to the motherland Dunno man, It has got a wee bit better and I'm sure I could get the details etc off McCoy. I dunno, I always felt that the guy on the Door was a total sack and the guy that runs it doesnt have a clue. Maybe thats just me. Sounds alright in there though. Plus they've stopped that really daft idea of table service. |

| Re: My holiday to the motherland Bryan you were here at the Canada day weekend when I wasn't at work to get Cuff's email with your phone number... then the phone number didn't work... then you were gone... then my heart was broken. Come back, I'll make things right between us.
Flights are now booked, will be there on the morning of the 25th of October till November 7th. Looks like IT'S ON. HOOOAH!
Picked up an acoustic that I was given a couple of years back, it had some kind of special meaning to it's previous owner who wanted "someone who would make good use of it" to have it. Looks like I can remember most things, except for a few chords and a handful of lyrics that have gone right out my head even though I sung them a million times. I think my biggest issue is going to be getting through a whole set without collapsing in a big pile of sweaty blubber... |
