| Movie: Star Wars Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith [image=left]http://www.alternativenation.net/gallery/files/2/4/8/GeneralGrievous4.jpg[/image]I’ll get the obvious question out of the way first, quickly and concisely. Yes. It’s good. Very good. I’d even go so far as to say that this movie is on a par with The Empire Strikes Back. That’s just how good it is. I've probably forgotten a lot of things that should be mentioned here, but I'll be seeing this a good many more times, and I suspect most other people will do the same.
From the incredible opening space battle—with shots that couldn’t even have been dreamed of in the ’70s, and couldn’t have been pulled off in the ’90s—leading straight into some fantastic lightsaber fights…it just doesn’t let up. Every time you think: “Okay, that’s it. The scene’s over, and things are going to quieten down”, you’re proven wrong. The intensity of the combat in this movie has been kicked up so many notches from the rest that The Phantom Menace’s battles look like...

| Re: Movie : Star Wars Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith Went to see it on Tuesday night and thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Lucas dosen't refer to it as "The Tearjerker" for nothing. |

| Re: Movie : Star Wars Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith Enjoyed it really very much, sure there was still some cheesy bits that made me cringe and obviously its not as good as the originals because they own but its far far superior to TPM and AOTC. Some scenes really overwhelmed me but i dunno how to hide the text so i won't write which ones in fear of spoiling it for anyone.
Yup i liked this one, i left smiling muchly. |

| Re: Movie : Star Wars Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith Was damn good!! There were a few things that let it down though:
- The state the obvious ending. It should've ended when Obi Wan walked away from Anakin.
- Anakin wasn't really evil til the last few scenes with Obi Wan.
- R2D2 reminded me of johnny five |

| Re: Movie : Star Wars Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith I liked it more than I ever thought I would.
Still plenty of stuff that doesn't work, but I thought it had plenty going for it.
Anakin's heel turn was still questionable though, which is a bit shite since it's the main story of the film. And "she's lost the will to live" was ten times worse than just having her die as the result of Anakin's force choke, which would have made him an even more tragic and evil character.

| Re: Movie : Star Wars Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith There was some ropey dialogue, aye, but it was far less frequent then the previus installments, mercifully.
I did have to choke back a couple of tears. |

| Re: Movie : Star Wars Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith went to see on tuesday and by and large was well worth stayin at work for,
a couple of things i didnt like
- some of the dialogue was piss poor
- hayden christensen acting was dire in some scenes
- the end was a bit of a let down, when darth was standing on the deck of the ship with his arms folded was half expectng him to pick up a cup of coffee ala spaceballs,
some of the jokes were pretty dire as well.
give me till monday though and ill HATE this film

| Re: Movie : Star Wars Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith i thought the eventual demise of anakin and the gradual rise of darth vader was what made the whole film, just the whole personal battle between the good and the evil inside of him just showed how much lucas had thought of it, but some of the acting was shit

| Re: Movie : Star Wars Episode III - The Revenge Of The Sith Well that was a thoroughly good movie, the kids loved it and I did not expect to be almost moved to tears in some scenes. Having failed to impress me in the second movie in the role of Anakin, Hayden Christianson really came into his own in this one.
I wanna go see it again
