Brilliant, Billy Connolly plays a Catholic priest, who just so happens to be a "convicted paedophile". I laughed. Pesky Catholic priests!
I thought it wasnt too bad at all. Better than I expected. Gave lots of wee nods to the fans and stuff.
I didnt like the "all is forgiven, mon back Mulder and help us solve this case and we will forget all about what happened in the last episode. Total cop out to me. But I guess it would have been tricky scripting it if he was still on the run or in jail.
There were alot of wee reminders of Krchek which I thought was a nice touch.
Overall, I enjoyed it.

It only cost $30m to make so its expected to break even at least or make a wee profit. Just means don't be expecting a big budget sequel.

This is a lot better than i thought it would be, Billy Connolly as a paedophile priest is rather good.
The only thing that was quite annoying was the lack of closure at the end. Who exactly was the guy that was being operated on, were they about to do a successful head transplant etc.. But I suppose that's classic X-Files. Definitely seems like there will be a sequel at some point, and there's a nice new version of the theme for the closing credits. | |
