| Re: The Incredible Hulk (remake, not sequel) seen it last night, pretty good, an improvement on the ang lee movie at least but not as enjoyable as iron man.

| Re: The Incredible Hulk (remake, not sequel) Just saw this and, unexpectedly, I really enjoyed it! Much much better than the last one, and I fancy Edward Norton. Not so much when he's green, but y'know...

| Re: The Incredible Hulk (remake, not sequel) I went at 5pm today, and the hall was about half full, not been to an opening day (or was it out yesterday?) of a film that was that empty in a long time. I'm guessing lots of folk will be put off by the last one, which is a shame as this is much better.

| Re: The Incredible Hulk (remake, not sequel) Thought this was really mediocre. After enjoying Iron Man this just wasn't up to scratch. In fact I found it a bit tedious and dull.

Have to remember it doesn't really get busy till after 6 due to most folk being on a 9-5.
I think whoever decided to start putting proper actors into comic book movies was a very sensible chap.

Go see this film. It has my blessing.
So many cameos - from Lou Ferrigno (tv's hulk), to Stan Lee, to freaking Paul Soles (voice of Banner in the 1966 Marvel Superheroes cartoon). So very many nods to other Marvel films, a definite probability of a sequel with the villain being created in this film, a surprise guest at the very end of the film (don't stay past the credits, nothing there unlike Iron Man), Liv Tyler gets minimal lines so as to not fuck the film up, William Hurt is a bad-ass as usual, Tim Roth doubly bad-ass... |

| Re: The Incredible Hulk (remake, not sequel) Was Tim Roth's likeness to Delta Force era Chuck Norris intentional? I took it that it was.

| Re: The Incredible Hulk (remake, not sequel) Oh man, I love this film. First thing that impressed me was the fact I didn't have to sit through 30-45 mins of "How Banner became the Hulk". No nonsense at all. All the nods and cameos were awesome as already noted. The end battle was excellent.
Really, really enjoyed this!

The only Non-Gaiman comic she ever readis X-Men and she thought they did a dreadful job of explaining the gamma exposure and how he ended up in Brazil. She has a point.

Fifty!! minutes of this film ended up on the cutting room floor, including a 20-30min origin story that they ended up reducing to the montage at the beginning, Banner attempting suicide to be rid of his curse, etc. |

| Re: The Incredible Hulk (remake, not sequel) Are they going to release the DVD as an extended edition a la Lord of the Rings? Or will they just chuck the deleted scenes in with the other "Special Content"?
