I switched off halfway through it because I found it so dull. It's a clever concept for a film, but it just did nothing for me at all.

I don't want to make any sweeping generalities, but it seems to be people who are patient and don't go into a movie with a mindset, at all, who seem to enjoy it more. And that is the most perfect behind to start it all off with.

Its the one film I've ever came out of where If it was a real thing I'd want to hug it. and everyone who saw it that day went straight to pub and we were all in a great mood after seeing it.

It's a difficult thing to do...to make nothing happen, but in a great way.

Not like 'The Break Up' where nothing happens, but in a nothing subtle about it way.

The Break up was fucking good. The dialoouge kept that film flying by and I felt so much like vinces character only I don't learn the lessons from it. Yeah it had moments where the take was too long and shit but whatcha gona do?

Watched it in a very low frame of mind and I just let it wash over me. Loved it ever since.

Pah! Its boring, there was no real chemistry between the lead characters and it relied far far too heavily on Japanese stereotypes for its jokes......Pretty rotten film.

The chemistry between the lead characters is why it works, The fact it rips the cunt out of japanese stereotypes is also a big reason why it works. The fact you like japanese movies is because of japanese stereotypes and their love of monsters raping people with samurai swords in slo mo while some old cunt walks.

Fuck, I couldn't disagree more on the chemistry point.

From the awkward silences to the two of them lying on the bed talking about how things will work out, it was just really...I dunno...spot on.

There was plenty of Jap stereotype jokes in it, but that was a huge point of the movie. To be in one of the busiest most mental cities in the world, but to be really lonely.

Ah come on man Its the disasosiation(or whatever its called in my state) in another country and without their repective partners that brings them together its only because there is a massive age gap between them and their feelings towards their other halfs that brings apon the awkwardness.
