I don't think they'll overdo it, maybe they'll actually use CGI in a responsible looking way unlike most other films these days. I'm just hoping that it will be more like an Indy film than the Mummy series (which it could be in danger of emulating if they do go CGI crazy). At least it being set 60 years ago means he won't solve most problems with the aid of technology, unlike Bourne, Die Hard 4 and the latest Bond.
The "how boring is it to watch someone sit at a laptop for 5 minutes?" factor is now even worse that it was in Hackers. At least Indy is one hero who won't look like he has a sponsorship deal, unless its for hats n' bullwhips. |
