| Re: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008 release) Am I right in thinking this is the only other of the books with all 4 children in it? I'm sure I heard that as the reason for this one being next.
First one had potential but was never going to be the next LOTR, as it tried to be. I'll probably see this, but I'm not expecting much tbh.

| I'm figuring it's based on chronological release order: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe was released in 1950. Prince Caspian was the second book released, in 1951. the other 5 books came afterwards. |

The book is next in the Narnia timeline as well. If you're telling the story of the Pevensie children it makes sense to start at Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
The first book is the Narnia creation story. The rest of the books follow the Pevensies and their cousin Eustace, apart from the Horse and His Boy, where the story does not focus around the Pevensies as Narnian royalty although they do appear in the book.

| Re: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008 release) I saw this a few weeks ago and loved it. I thought it was really funny, but that might have been the people I was at the cinema with, although I do believe that if I were there on my own, or with a really boring date, then I'd have enjoyed it just as much. |

| Re: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008 release) This is amazing.
Theyve changed an awful lot, but it makes sense.
The whole Caspian/Susan plotline is ridiculous though.
Eddie Izzard couldve been used a bit more though.

| Re: The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008 release) It was aaaight. The kids playing Edmund and Lucy were miles better than Peter and Susan, easily (how old is Susan? Just, y'know, curious) Ben Barnes was okay but yeah, not that much happened. The bit with Jadis was pretty good and Izzard is always good value. Dawn Treader could, in fact, be awesome.
