I got the impression that Cuaran wanted us to imagine, with our own ideas, how Britain had become this way.
If you don't mean all of the above then I don't know, lalala | The end just left too much hanging.
Not a bad film/idea but I wouldnt wanna see it again.

| Re: Children of Men Affirmative
I thought the ending was a bit cheese, but then again we don't really know who The Human Project are, or if they exist at all, so I'm guessing that's why it ended like it did.

| Re: Children of Men I dunno, a sequel could be utterly amazing.
Some brilliant bits though, like the bit where she walks down the stairs with the baby and everything just stops.

| Re: Children of Men I agree, I think that is a key moment.
The more I think about it, the more is seems like a 'special' film. Quote:

| Re: Children of Men I loved the fact they didn't try and explain everything.
If they started trying to get into the science of it it'd lose it's effect.
it was basically a camera following Clive Owen about for the whole movie.
Had they explained everything it wouldn't have worked the way it did.
Was there a scene he wasn't in? |

| Re: Children of Men I've seen it twice, and I can't recall one scene without him in it. Still though, he carries the film with ease. As a matter of fact, big Owen deserves an Oscar nod as well.
