| Children of Men New Clive Owen film from Alfonso Cuaran aka "the guy who did Y Tu Mama Tambien and Prisoner of Azkaban". It's set in the near future, where an infertilty problem means mankind can no longer procreate leading humanity to lose all hope. Blah blah Clive Owen finds a pregnant girl big race against time to save her etc. I think its a great premise for a film but it could go either way. Anyway heres the trailer http://www.apple.com/trailers/universal/childrenofmen/
I should mention that Julianne Moore is in this, and I quite like her. |

| Re: Children of Men I'm dying to see this, but the boyfriends and none of the mates fancy it shall havve to venture into a cinema alone for the first time methinks.
i saw the trailer for this when i went to see A Scanner Darkly, and it immediately prompted a massive rant from me. Women becoming infertile, pah, eveyone knows its men that are firing blanks nowadays |

| Re: Children of Men I can't wait for this either, such a basic concept but I can't think of it being done before, can you?
The one part in the trailer I don't like is when they constantly mention the Human Project, c'mon, we get the point! You have to take her there, leave it at that. |

| Re: Children of Men I think this film looks great!! I hope it doesn't let me down.
I thought it seems along the same lines of Margaret Atwood's "Haidmaids Tale" which is my fav book. I love the fact its scary cos it's a little too close for comfort.
Stunt Girl, I'd say come with me, but chances are I'll be in Newcastle seeing it alone too. I quite like going alone though.

| Children of Men It's 2027 and women are infertile.
The youngest person on earth (18 years old) has just been killed.
We're all fucked except...
...HERE COMES CLIVE OWEN!
I really really really liked this movie.
Everything was spot on, right down to the graffiti on the walls in the background.
It was really well paced, acting was good from Owen, and some of the humour was well timed.
Anyone else been to see it yet? |

| Re: Children of Men Clive Owen?
He's shortlisted on my favourite male actors list just now...As soon as I find it playing someplace, consider me having watched it. |

| Re: Children of Men The clips I've seen look really good and Clive Owen is brilliant in just about every film I've seen him in. I will diss the science in it, cos they always buggar it up with rubbish..that's what ruined the Rocky Horror Picture Show for me you know, incorrect science
