Favourite Scenes In Movie History

*WARNING: WILL PROBABLY INVOLVE SPOILERS*

Turns out YouTube is useful for things other than ghostriding the whip videos and the lastest Iron Sheik rants, as you can also get totally illegal copyrighted material. Wahey!

Anyone, this thread is to celebrate the best bits (or at least the ones you can find) from movie history; the kind of scenes that you fire a DVD on for just to watch.

Glengarry Glen Ross
It was a tough call between this and Alec Baldwin's pep talk, but this is my personal favourite, as it features probably the best swearing of all time, as big Alfredo Pacino's Ricky Roma takes Kevin Spacey's character to task for losing him a sale.

The guy who wants to talk to Roma is a cop, by the way, which makes the way he talks to him even funnier. And Jack Lemmon's little punchline to the vid here is great, especially when taken within the context of the whole flick.

Rocky IV
Training montage, set to 'Hearts On Fire'. 'Nuff said. DRAGO!

If this doesn't get your blood pumping, you're either dead, or a homosexual. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Rocky Balboa
Man, I don't care what anyone says, this is fucking beautiful, and I mean that in total cynicism-free earnestness.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBtO8Ay1MNk

The Boondock Saints
I actually really don't like this film, but I adore Willem Dafoe, and this is possibly him at his very greatest. It also features some of the most hilariously inaccurate shooting by any contract killer ever.

Short Version: This cuts the scene down purely to the best bit, the "THERE WAS A FIREFIGHT" section.
Long Version: The full brilliance of Dafoe is unveiled here, but it's a bit of a drag whenever Dafoe isn't around

AND FINALLY:

The Wicker Man (2006)
When it's too hard to select simply one favourite scene, you need a montage of the best bits. I can't even pick a favourite out of that, though Cage's pier dive is a possibility. Also "BITCHES!". And the bear shoes. Or punching the woman whilst in the bear costume. Fuck it, the list is endless.

More when I can be arsed, and ADD YER OWN.

Young Frankenstein

I could pick loads of scenes from this 'Tam's favourite comedy ever' but the skull scene is Marty Feldman genius.

The 'Puttin' On the Ritz' scene as well:

I was going to post this, I was actually mildly shocked to find someone having this much taste this early in the thread.

Re: Favourite Scenes In Movie History

Totally obvious but the first thing that springs to mind is this.

Forgive me, I'm trying to think of less obvious ones right now.
