| I Am Legend (Will Smith) In 1954 Richard Matheson released "I Am Legend" - a novel about biological warfare ending with the transformation of most of the world's population into vampires and following the last man on Earth as he tries to live out his life.
In 1964 Vincent Price starred as the last man on earth in the film adaptation L'Ultimo Uomo Della Terra (The Last Man on Earth), co-written by Matheson.
In 1971 Charlton Heston assumed the lead role in The Omega Man, a film inspired by the original novel.
Now Will Smith is stepping into the role - check the trailer, looks interesting and I've recently picked up the graphic novel to check that out as well.
I Am Legend is set for a January 4th, 2008 release in the UK. http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/iamlegend/ |

| Re: I Am Legend Will Smith has been irritating of late but this looks OK.
How come the other thread has not been merged into this one?
