| 5 movies, multiple deaths, one cinema...
Yes folks, after a year's absence, it's back! The All-Night Horror Movie Marathon makes it debut at the Odeon at the Quay, on Saturday November 3rd at 11.30pm (films start at midnight), and this year we're showing...
'30 Days of Night' 'Black Sheep' 'The Descent' 'Switchblade Romance'
and John Carpenter's legendary 'The Thing'!
Fancy dress is, as always, more than welcome, and this year there will be prizes for the best costumes!
Tickets are priced at £15 (£11 for concessions - over 18's only), and you can book in advance either on-line, in person, or on the Filmline (0871 22 44 007).
Hope to see you there!

| Re: 5 movies, multiple deaths, one cinema... I've always loved this idea in theory, but the films haven't been up to much. This time the only thing that really sways me to spend a whole night without sleep in the company of arseholes in a darkened room is the chance to see The Thing on the big screen.
Can't believe the new Saw isn't in this, come to think of it. I would've had a monetary bet on it. That's not a complaint, mind you.

This is a much better bill than the past few years although still nowt special.

I really hope it'll be light out by the time the last one finishes

| Re: 5 movies, multiple deaths, one cinema... This thread has me reminiscing about the best cinema I have ever been to in London. It was in Kings Cross, it was on it's last legs in the early 90s and it did all night screenings with a theme each week (pretty sure it was only open weekends) which was frequently old B-movie horrors. It was dirt cheap and there was a resident cat who was free to roam the auditorium. The audience was usually a mix of students and the homeless (it was a warm place for the night). It shut down years ago due to the dynamic of the area. Shame. It was a superb and cheap night out (and no one cared how much alcohol you took in). If memories serves it opened at midnight. Great place.

| Re: 5 movies, multiple deaths, one cinema... Ach. I'll probably see that before the all nighter which takes out 3 of the 5, since I already own 2 of them. |
