As far as being on topic is concerned, Rendition hit its point, but failed to really entertain me as a drama.

The heavy hitters that were so clearly advertised in the trailer (Witherspoon and Streep) had been reduced to mere bit parts overall, giving way to the other various side stories, which, to me at least, seemed unnecessarily overemphasized.

I dunno.. much like Syrianna I thought the side plots gave the film more scope and appreciation of the whole situation. Plus that little twist at the end...

just saw this film last week. found it really difficult to watch and very moving but did enojoy it. certaining one that made me think about it for days after.
