It was ok, but nothing that hasn't been done a million times before anyway. There's nothing in it that isn't generic or cliched.

She has about five lines and she looks absolutely fucking disgusting. The nude scene made me boak.

Was quite enjoying this film up until the plot swerve 30mins before the end.
45mins in and he's still in Assassin Training Camp....almost 70mins and he's sorting out his first job - but I'm an absolute sucker for origin stories in superhero films.

Once the plot swerve started, my attention massively strayed.

Then to make matters worse, I started reading the graphic novel 20mins before the end - attention completely stolen. It was like there were two sets of entertainment medium about similarly named characters who happen to share a couple of lines/scenes between mediums but otherwise they're completely different tales.

Finally got round to watching this. I'd avoided it because people had been saying that it sucks, but I thought it was another brilliant Timur Bekmambetov movie. Unfortunately IMDb just supplied me with the worst news of the year, just as Wanted had made me excited about the idea of Timur directing Hollywood movies.

I'd be just as happy if they left the 'Watch series as a duology. It works perfectly as such, the end of the second leading back into the start of the first.

Despite Freeman and Macavoy doing their best with the parts they had there were holes in the story of Wanted you could've driven a tank through. Even with the amazing action scenes the glaring errors really fucked with my suspension of disbelief. You could say "Its just an action movie" but I think that does a disservice to the really fucking cool bits of the movie that were let down by the rest of it.

That reminds me, HMV have the Director's Cut of Day Watch for £5.

Best watched back to back with Night Watch, but never watch the dubbed versions. Best subtitles I've ever seen in a film.

There aren't. As a result the double disc Night Watch dvd has 3 versions of the film on it. I don't have my copy of it here so I can't remember what version has the animated subtitles.
