| Re: Wanted (James MacAvoy, Angelina Jolie) I thought it was awful. Really didn't like it. One big cliche after another and the ending was shocking.
I'm a huge fan of the comic and the film just shat all over it.

| Re: Wanted (James MacAvoy, Angelina Jolie) Just back from this, feeling largely unsatisfied. One of those films where the trailer pretty much says all there is to know about the film.
I'd hoped for some semi-decent character development but none existed, MacAvoy's Amercian accent was rotten as well. Not sure whether this movie was trying to be slick, tongue-in-cheek, badass or clever but it pretty much failed on all counts. Shame that, the premise seemed good and big Jimbo has let his fledgling yet fairly strong movie portfolio down badly...

What was the loom of fate gash all about?
Still, I didn't hate it as much as I wanted to. I just left the cinema feeling feeling it was alright, but nothing special. I expected far worse. |

Seriously, the amount of time and effort they spent into finding someway to feasibly make them all assassins, they'd have been aswell just portraying the supervillan actual storyline well.
I'm just gutted I never got to see Rictus in film really |

| Re: Wanted (James MacAvoy, Angelina Jolie) Total load of pish to be honest, and Angelina Jolie wasn't even that good in it - she had crazy way too skinny arm stuff going on in the nude scene as well.
Would have been all right if it hadn't taken it's self so seriously. Reminded me of Equlibrium minus the B-movie vibe, especially the long gun fight going through the factory.

| Re: Wanted (James MacAvoy, Angelina Jolie) Angelina Jolie hasn't been attractive for about ten years. Just looking at her makes me feel queasy.
Still haven't seen this. Looking forward to the Mark Millar cameo.

Ah sorry, I was thinking about the other bit when he's trying to catch that bit in the loom that flits about quickly... Quote:

She didn't have enough muscle on her to be an assassin, I was worried she was going to get snapped every time she was in a fight scene
