The comic, imaginatively (ie bullshit) spun as doing for supervillains what the watchmen did for superheroes, was a let down and I don't see this being any different.

I'm a big fan of the comic, but as said before, they have taken out just about everything that made the comic a great read. This film is going to suck and fail.

I picked the trade paperback up the other day and just got round to reading it.
Loved it. Pissed myself laughing at "the guy in the wheelchair". How often can you say THAT and not get dirty looks?.
So on that basis... "what Posh said".
They've pussied out, by the looks of things, in terms of spandex absurdity, and in terms of the protagonists being... well... Utter cunts!
