| Lions for Lambs I had fairly high hopes for this, despite starring Tom Cruise, but it turned out it was a bland work of would-be propaganda if only it knew what its point was. Absolute rubbish.

| Re: Lions for Lambs I couldn't work out if some of the dialogue between Cruise and Streep was supposed to be that awkward, or if I was cringing too much. Everything between Redford and the precocious idiothead was awful.

Yeah I thought about this film last night, I actually *gulp* enjoyed Tom Cruise in it but to be fair capturing him in smarmy but weirdly charming way probably means following him around with a camcorder against his knowledge ala that guy in Bowfinger. I thought I was the only one who didn't get the point of it though so this thread is nice (Y) |
