| Re: Quarantine Indeed - when we saw it at FrightFest (before it was out in the UK) the remake was already in production. The directors didn't seem too pleased. |

| Re: Quarantine Saw this in the cinema last night.
We were mostly waiting for it to end, just to see if it did something good somewhere.
The cast was weirdly "high scale" for a movie of this class - even had Doug Jones in it. |

| Re: Quarantine This is terrible, Rec is amazing. Dunno how that works considering it turns into a shot for shot remake at times. |

| Re: Quarantine Easy, Quarantine is obviously lacking in the effort that went into [Rec]. Many a good film has been spoiled by being made in a half-arsed way - and it always shows. |

| Re: Quarantine I'd actually heard it was alright, and worth a look even if you've seen REC. I was curious about how they'd do the Medeiros girl seeing as, presumably, there's a bigger budget? |

They skipped the girl entirely in favour of using Doug Jones, who is an amazing "man in suit" actor" but a grown man shambling about is nowhere near as creepy as little demon girls, never in a million years |

| Re: Quarantine I'll be honest - if you've seen REC, you've seen Quarantine (bar the character changeup during the reveal at the end)
Quarantine may have had better production values in terms of how much money they had to throw around, but the actors could have used a bit of warmth...They had amazing quality character actors as well is the most disappointing thing. |

It's a bit strange to make such a close remake but change the name. |
