Having said that me and my mate did have a great time ripping the fuck out of it and annoying the other cinema-goers in the process who seemed to be otherwise deeply involved in the film's "intricate plot twists".
Other hilarities include the interestingly shit CGI (strange considering we are almost in the 2010's), random spazzy animals appeariing out of nowhere and for no good reason, brendan fraser's insistence on lame jokes and double entendres e.g. "pardon me, but i've got a bit of excavating to do" and "this is a tomb where many pharoahs have lain" (actually i think it was someone else who said but who gives a shit, the dialogue was pretty much the same thoughout the entire film)
But I spose what more can you expect from a Mummy sequel? The first film was alright, it was definitely watchable but it was never a thinking man's kinda movie. The only thing that kinda annoys me about it is that the film's poster advertised Jet Li starring in one of the main roles, but he was actually only in it for like 2 mins and then he turns into CGI. If there were any fight scenes at all I certainly can't remember them.
