| Vin Diesel for back for xXx-3, Fast and Furious 4 and Riddick 3?

Sony Pictures is in discussions with former Revolution Studios chief Joe Roth for a third entry in the "XXX" franchise entitled "XXX: The Return of Xander Cage" says Variety.
While there is no script, both original star Vin Diesel and director Rob Cohen have agreed to return to the franchise they kicked off in 2002 which was setup as a grungier American version of the James Bond films.
In that film, Diesel played Xander Cage - an extreme sports enthusiast who gets drafted by the government for a dangerous mission. Despite generally negative reviews, the film took in a decent $277 million worldwide.
A subsequent sequel in 2005 with Ice Cube and director Lee Tamahori fared far worse with scathing reviews and only a paltry $71 million worldwide.
Diesel opted out of the original sequel as his price was too high, but as demand for him has cooled in recent years he's come back to the roles that made him famous with a return to the "Fast and Furious" franchise next year and talk of a third Riddick film in the works.

I actually watched Chronicles of Riddick the other week, which started the conversation about where it all went wrong for Vin and enjoyed it much, much more than I did the first time. | |

YAY!! i love XxX but never watched the second one because it didnt have vin diesel in it whop IS XxX. and the chronicles of riddick is awsome as is pitch black. and the fast and the furious is great to

in the second one they mention that xander cage is pan breed.
also isnt the riddick franchise partly owned/run by him, after pitch black ofcourse.
im almost certain he was heavily involved in the chronicles.
