| Re: Drag Me to Hell I liked the comedy. I liked the minging' shit. I even liked the ending. The "scares" were absolute balls though. Every single scary moment was a fucking "sudden loud noise during a quiet bit" piece of pish (I believe they're called "buses"). I got so pissed off by the amount of buses I was on the verge of walking out, until the seance started. The film redeemed itself with that one scene.
The one and only part that even remotely creeped me out was when the wispy shadow on the wall clearly forms the silhouette of the Lhamia for the first time as it stoats around the outside of the house. Quote:

Treat with as many pinches of salt as you see fit. |

Oh, whoops, using 'Who Quoted Me?' and didn't bother to read the rest of the thread to see that Gordon had answered this already.
Yeah, Bruce was taking the piss out of us and yer mate fell for it.

They might as well have paid a wee guy to pop his head in from the fire exit with a flashing sign and a bull-horn, saying "Ladies and Gentlemen, prepare to be SCARED!".
*thinks*
I want that job. |
