| Drag Me to Hell IMDB
Saw this last night. It's actually pretty damn good
Had seen an advert saying "best horror movie of the decade", so went in with a bit of scepticism & expecting it to be American trash - but was pleasently surprised. Not sure if it's worthy of that title, but certainly one you should pay to see at the cinema
IMDB has trailers/clips

Us Pg-13
I wouldn't say it was supposed to be scary, it's a Sam Raimi movie.
I wouldn't say Evil Dead was scary - but it's great.

| Re: Drag Me to Hell My bad!
I might be reading a bit much into this but was there any significance to the coat she was buying at the end? I thought there was guna be some freaky button in the pocket or some shit.

And also obviously sets up the hilariously clunky 'What happened to your old coat?' dialogue.
I forgot about the coin despite it being such an obvious bit of foreshadowing and thus when the envelopes got switched on the floor I thought one of them was gonna be the engagement ring he'd bought for her and that when he proposed it was gonna be the button.

Loads of folk bitching on IMDB about how obvious the button/coin swap was, I actually thought it was meant to be obvious, or rather, I certainly didn't feel it was meant to be a twist, cos it works both ways. |
