and yesterday, Wall-E (at a private screening in Edinburgh) - it's jaw-droppingly good. May actually be one of the best children's films I've ever seen, and is definitely the best thing Pixar have ever made (yes, even better than Toy Story!). Sheer brilliance.

Yeah, it was made a few years ago. It seems you can only get it online, that's where i got it after trying most places in glasgow/paisley heh. It has Christina Ricci playing Elizabeth ,Jonathan Rhys Myers with Lou Reed
I only came across it by chance though, i didn't know a film had been made either!
I liked the book and the film wasn't bad either. As is the case with most books that are adapted into films, some of the stuff has been left out but it still makes sense.Here's the trailer
