From Dusk Til Dawn, cos it's like a Tarantino-esque crime film AND a vampire film. You can't lose.
I love watching that film with people who've never seen it, they get the biggest "what the FUCK" expression. | |

hmm i'd like a film though where the vampire wins. cause i'm reckoning they prob would in real life..
queen of the damned had the idea to try make totally seductive vampires that humans couldnt resist..however the actors werent believable at all.
is 'Vampires' the one where they hunt vampires all day??? | |

Fright Night 1 and 2 are two that haven't been suggested yet. They were great. | |

Lets see, one not mentioned would probably be Nosferatu the Vampyre, which is pretty good, and <Pulls out reciepts> £15 in Fopp. Two CDs as well, so woo.
You could also try find the original Nosferatu, or the old Draculas with Bela Lugosi.
And, of course, every Hammer Horror film ever etc. | |

Ok, some of my favourites have already been mentioned (except QotD, i've never left a cinema early in my life but I did with this movie!) but here are some you haven't mentioned yet that are worth watching.

The Addiction is a cool film showing vampires in a kind of junkie light. It's shot in black and white and Chris Walken's in it which is a bonus. | |

Definitely check out Near Dark its a great movie, they just released it on DVD I also recommend The Omega Man, its an adaptation of another story/movie/ illustrated book called I Am Legend, which is also good kinda like a vampire version of night of the living dead. Also Salem's Lot its old but its worth a look, Vamp which I haven't seen in years, another 80's modern style vampire movie with Grace Jones looking well creepy. and Sundown if you can get a hold of it you might find a copy on ebay. oh and Van Helsing which is due out in may it looks not bad you can find the trailer here http://www.apple.com/trailers/univer...ing/superbowl/

Andy Warhol's Blood For Dracula is amazing, due to being incredibly shit.
