Awful Batman film

How awful is this new Batman film,sat on my numb sore arse for about 3 hours watching it,and to my annoyance Katie Holmes had to do her side mouthed mumbling as usual,i thought that was just a Joey thing,obviously not.

Then i hear they are planning on remaking Batman and Batman Returns,and if they do its a crime,Jack Nicholson Michelle Pfeiffer and Danny Devito are legends in those films as is Micheal Keaton and Tim Burton who directed them,i think im going to cry at just the thought of dimwits like Lindsay Lohan or Orlando Bloom playing these characters (they arent the actors who are going to play the Joker etc its a just an example of how bad its going to be remaking these films)

They're not going to be remakes any more than the '89 film was a remake of the film in '66. Characters are forever being reintroduced in films, look how many Tarzans or King Kongs there has been.

Ah see i never knew there was one in the 60's...but seriously the only perosn who can play the Joker is Jack N....its a travesty.

And they got the whole scenario of Bruce Waynes parents being killed all wrong,because it was the Joker who did it and he was with another guy,but in this film its some randomer.

Batman Begins had a different take on it, indeed a different take even from the established proper origins of Batman in the comics post Crisis blah blah.

Acctually the 90's one got that all wrong. The joker killing Wayne's parents was completely made up for the Burton Movie, there was never any suggestion of that in the comic books.

Theres been a batman comic book since the 1930's incase you hadn't noticed. Burton didn't invent the character

I also have a soft spot for the 60's version. Ceasar Romero is as good a Joker as Jack IMHO.

Batman Begins from what every one is saying, it's bloody amazing! And i want to go see it tonight! If they "remake" batman and returns, i'm sure it'll be a different story to it! Just re-using some of the greatest batman villins from the comics! They really should remake forever and robin! haha but leave robin and batgirl out of the picture!
