| Re: Batman - The Dark Knight Awesome film. Bale hams up the Batman accent a wee bit too much near the end though.
Best bit - The joker blowing up the hospital in the nurses outfit and clicking the detanator like mad waiting for something to blow up, and when it does, him running onto the bus
Sets up the next one to be a cracker.

| Re: Batman - The Dark Knight Aye me too, kept thinking "This is fucking amazing" Totally didnt slow down at all until the end! Just wanted Two Face to fucking shoot someone! The CGi on dents face was fantastic, actualyl turned to my mate and said "That is amazing" The first time you see it in the hospital. Joker was PERFECT. Was worried abotu this "BadPod" nonsense, but it worked well.
Ridiculously happy how true they stayed to the comics, GOD BLESS NOLAN Though they shouldnt have killed two face, the end was my only gripe, but even then, FUCK SAKE! |

Might go see it again next week.
Ledger is great but it was not Oscar winning. Bet he gets it anyway though.

| Re: Batman - The Dark Knight I can't believe you're gonna come here on my forum and talk shit about Jack Nicholson's "lack of credibility" as the Joker. "CAMP", he says~!! The Joker may wear the facepaint, but you are the real fucking clown around these parts, my friend. Jack Nicholson was incredible in the role of the Joker, and fit the tone of that movie flawlessly. Was the tone of that movie "the best" interpretation of Batman? Maybe, maybe not - everyone has their own preferences of where they want their Batman to sit in the camp->grim scale. But no-one could seriously say Jack Nicholson was anything less than flawless in his role as Tim Burton's Joker, surely to God?
I don't have a properly formed opinion of Ledger in the role yet, as I won't see the movie until tomorrow. Pure heavy mega thumbs up for the top-class use of hide tags for spoilers in this thread so far, legit I mean that and will get around to repping all involved soon.

Oh, no, wait, that's not right. That's not right at all.
