Batman himself changed design many times over the comic's run.
And if I was making a movie, I'd want to give Batman my own signature "look", wouldn't you?

Yeah, it's just that Nolan did the last one and the suit kicked ass so I didn't think it would change. Still, it looks good and I'm sure as long as he's in charge there will be no nipples or hidden ice skates on the suit. | |
