| Batman - The Dark Knight Dunno how reliable this is, it's from a couple months ago, thought i'd fire it up anyway http://www.darkhorizons.com/news05/051012g.php
read in quite a few places that michael Keaton and Ryan Reynolds are the current favorites to play the joker. I find it rather amusing that when i realised they were gonna do another Joker movie a commented that if he hadn't already been Batman Keaton would have made a magic joker.
I dunno how likely he'll be to do it as i believed he's lined up to play Jigsaw in the Punisher sequel.
It's all very ahead of time so i'm taking everythin the now with a pinch of salt.
oh aye and Warner Bros have penned in june 20th 2008 as the release date for the film. Don't know quite how they've managed that when it's not even started production and whatnot but there ye go. |

As far as I can remember, Terminator 2 was rushed[0] like buggery to make the July 4th 1991 date it had been given.
[0]Yet still done properly. Go figure. |

| Re: batman begins sequel rumours I liked the first Punisher film. Could have done with more people being shot, and he should have been more cold. Sequel should be able to sort that out.

| Re: batman begins sequel rumours punisher 2 is happening, Jack Black i think in no uncertain terms has been told they don't want him because he's just not right but he's not taking no for an answer and determined to loose weight and the works. a fruitless effort i feel. |

| Re: batman begins sequel rumours Keaton would be a very poor choice at this stage.
Batman Begins is set in the young just emerging life of Batman...Joker has always had a sort of ageless consistency to himself but Keaton - even in his most manic of moods - just doesn't display that same sort of quality.
Besides in the same canon world that produced Batman Begins, Joker's a young thug, even younger than Batman. |

| Re: batman begins sequel rumours And how have you decided that exactly? That the Joker's a young thug in this canon? Because the only reference I remember to the Joker was the bit at the very end with the playing cards. Admittedly though, I only saw it the once, and that was when it first came out a year ago.
Unless, I assume, you're referring to the comics, in which case, I wouldn't take anything from that anyway.
