| Re: Terminator 4? There's no doubting that, however my original point was that he is probably trying to steer his career away from big budget blockbusters after 'Reign Of Fire', 'Equilibrium', 'Batman' etc.
Plus it would just be weird seing Christian Bale as John Connor, it would be like seeing Christopher Reeve posthumously play James Bond.
Bale is brilliant though, i saw an interview the other day where the interviewer was talking about the twin personalities of Bruce Wayne and Bale interrupted and said "You forgot the third personality......THE BEAST OF BATMAN MWAHAHAHAHAA!!"

The fourth Terminator movie - Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins - will hit cinemas on 22 May 2009, the makers have announced.
Shooting on the McG-helmed film, which stars Christian Bale as rebel leader John Connor, will begin in May at Albuquerque Studios in New Mexico. It's the first of a planned trilogy which promises to "reinvent the cyborg saga", as production company Halcyon put it.
Halcyon co-CEO Derek Anderson teased back in October: "This is set in the future, in a full-scale war between Skynet and humankind."
Of the location, McG said in a statement this week that New Mexico "represented an arid Western United States in a post-apocalyptic future", adding: "This is the story of a man's search for belief in himself and his fellow man. It's a long journey and the landscape plays a critical role."

| Re: Terminator 4? Despite all the confirmation rumours I'd heard, I really didn't think it was true. It just didn't seem likely.
Here's hoping for 'creative differences', because it's a far more realistic wish than that this film will be anything but utter pish.

| Re: Terminator 4? Christian Bale signed up for 5 and 6 too.. Quote:
Christian Bale, who's already strutting his stuff before the cameras for Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, will play John Connor in a further two cinematic outings for the Skynet versus humanity saga.
Much to the delight of producers Halcyon, Bale has agreed to stick around for the subsequent movies. The company's Victor Kubicek told the BBC: "He's really an actor's actor, so we're very proud. Christian was our first choice and he's a big fan of The Terminator, so we're very lucky."
