Strumming his way out of Philadelphia USA, Amos Lee offers up the at first bland, then infectious Shout Out Loud.
Managing to rise just above bog standard man plus guitar territory, Amos Lee injects unexpected gospel and soul touches towards the end of Shout Out Loud, driving it into your head unexpectedly with subtle backing vocals that swell on the number's big chorus.
This is good in a sort of throwback to old style Californian country rock in the CSNY vein, slightly wishy washy but still a good tune.
