Nice Inch Nails are really good. I’m fairly convinced of this fact, and I clung to it throughout the night. Like a raft, it bore me from island to island of great songs, scattered haphazardly in a sea of shitty tracks from With Teeth.

To be fair, this is the first time that I’d heard anything off the new album, so I hadn’t really had a chance to get to know any of these dreadful, dreadful songs. They are rubbish, though, when performed live. I can’t imagine that being on record helps them to suck any less.

Of course, no one was there to hear the band play stuff off of With Teeth. Contradict me all you want—you’re lying. About halfway through the set Ninchy Nails realised this and got on with their good songs. And how were they? Well, they were good.

Mostly good. Occasionally things got kicked up into fucking excellent, but never for very long. Somewhere along the way NIN seem to have forgotten how to rock, which is terribly...

I wouldn't say stalkeriffic....Just making my point to defend my Idol. If that offends people then so be it. I am not going to lose any sleep over that.

I think 'bemused' would perhaps be a better description than 'offended'.

Well all as I can say, is most of you guys don't have a fucking clue what you are talking about. And obviously never will. I don't give a shit if you think I am off my head just because I respect what the guy has been through and because I understand him. but what the hell...At least I can say I have done my bit for my idol.

no, i'd say it's more accurate to say u understand what you're told by the media and in interviews. you don't know the guy personally and so can't really understand him.

I met the guy, and he is the nicest guy I have ever met. He lets himself out through his songs, take a close listen to TDS and see. Plus I never said I knew the guy personally. So I don't know what the fuck you talking about.

no, maybe not, but to understand a person is usually to know them.

i think you'll find there's better examples than the downward spiral to illustrate your point too

How old are you, out of interest?
Since I really do think you've let yourself become a little bit TOO obsessed with Nine Inch Nails, and have taken the media a little bit too much at their word.
When did you meet him? Was it at a preorganised meet and greet, or briefly backstage at a gig?
