Asides - Rob McCulloch, Newton Faulkner, the Randoms

Rob McCulloch - Planet Of My Own. Evokes memories of Shed Seven, only it is a Shed Seven fronted by Robbie Williams. Sturdy, dependable pub rock that does not excite much interest apart from a nifty blistering guitar solo halfway through.

Newton Faulkner - Full Fat. Sounding like a boring, tired Everlast, Faulkner raps over some redundant strums and synth squelches, losing my interest by the first thirty seconds of the track.

The Randoms - Two Stripe Trainers. Pick of a poor bunch, the Randoms sound like a second tier Brit pop band from ten years ago but manage to construct a memorable melodic guitar pop tune.
