Now I fairly panelled them in the review of
Be Alone, so you might be expecting more of the same. However, while the singing may still make you wince at times on
D'ya Feel Lucky, it’s a fairly catchy punk tune, and the second track
Be Alone is nowhere near the ear-bleeding sound I heard the last time: maybe I was in the wrong mood at the time but I feel I was slightly harsh in that review. Overall it’s still inoffensive punk; the deciding factor will probably be the vocal style—you’re either going to like it or you’re not. I'm still at not like stage, but who knows? After all, I've moved on from the hate end already.
D'ya Feel Lucky is out on the 22nd May on Level Sound Music.
