Again.. think about why you want to do it. The EMG sound isn't for everyone, and not something I'd do to a cheap guitar. remember you have to change all the pots and wiring to accomodate active pickups |

Plus my gf said i could have her telecaster as we're movin in anyhow, so its always gonna b there! |

| Re: Tele EMG I think you'll be able to get the sound easily enough without changing the pickups, but that's just me.
Mind and budget for fitting, they're not cheap. |

| Re: Tele EMG Trying to emulate the sound of another player is always a route to disaster. Get yourself a good guitar and a good amp and go from there. With decent gear you should get able to dial in any popular style of guitar tone without chasing round with an endless selection of pickups pedals and assorted gadgetry. It;s throwing good money after bad, trust me. |
