Need to power my speakers... (amp advice)

So I've got a set of Tannoy E11's... any info on them?
I'm lookin for a way to power them.

A decent amp to power them may be more expensive than getting a decent pair of active monitors.

I'm sure Carillon have a deal with hgih end speakers for under £150.

If you're dead set on using an amp with this setup, then try this

Cambridge Audio are reliable and good quality.

There is 2x red and 2x black connections on rear of each speaker.
Can someone explain??

I'd second the vote for Cambridge Audio, good equipment at a decent price.

As Toast says, the monitors are probably bi-ampable, using one stereo amplifier for the low, and another for the high, although, with the factt he speakers aren't Tannoy's high end monitors, it may be a link connection allowing to daisy chain the system.

Ah clever that, never heard of that... im not really an audio buff.

It says biwireable on the back. Sort of embossed into the plastic panel, I never really noticed it at time.

I dated them, made around 1989 - 1992 or something.

Third vote for the CA amp. I had an A1Mk2SE for years and it was great.
