| Re: [Drums] Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. dW is the sensible choice for hardware, the 9000 series is awesome.
The iron cobra hi hat stands are one of the only hi hat stands on the market with a foot plate which is reason enough to choose them over the rest, but for value, the tama roadpro is also awesome.
I have a gibralter snare stand, from 8 years ago which I use on the kits in the studio and is as solid today as it always has been!
Used to use a Pearl Icon rack, but gre tired of racks now i've toned down my setup.
When the new kit arrives I'll take some pics, here is a list of the setup...
Mapex Saturn Shells in Cherry Sparkle...
24 x 20 kick
12 x 10, 16 x 14 and 18 x 16 toms
14 x 7 walnut snare (also have a Pearl MMX 14 x 5.5 and a Yamaha Brass 14 x 6.5 number) Tama Road Pro are my stands of choice, I need a few and wouldn't like to have to replace more expensive models... I have a plethora of cymbals these days... I mainly use... 14" Meinl MB20 soundwave hats 18" Meinl MB20 Heavy Crash 20" Sabian AAX Metal Ride 18" Meinl MB20 heavy China 8" Zildjian Armand Splash 9" Zildjian Zilbel 16" Meinl MB10 Crash I also have a set of LP bits and bobs, namely 2 cowbells (one for the foot and one for the hands), a clave, a tambourine. I have an array of other cymbals but that is basically my setup from 3 days time! I still have my Pearl Masters and my Pearl Session, but this is all new and shiny!!! I might put them all together if they fit into a room YAS! |

| Re: [Drums] Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. Yas, new kit time
Sold my Soundwave to a collector down south, I've upgraded to a nice white marine pearl Premier Genista. This is quite a rare finish in these sizes, I'm informed that the kit allegedly was made for a Steve White clinic tour many moons ago. Lovely kit, and slightly more normal sizes
22 kick, 12/13 mounted and 14/16 floors
Still using the Premier snare
Cymbal wise we have :
Paiste Rude 14' hi hat top with 3000 series bottom
Paiste Formula 602 15' ride
Paiste 19' 2002 Rock Crash
Zildjian Z 22' Power Ride
Paiste 2002 18' Medium |

| Re: [Drums] Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. You set it up like you're in an indie band, with the ride there
I set mine up for the first time in a while the other day, pics to follow...
Nice finish by the way, another kit on my shortlist when I bought mine was the white marine pearl Premier Artist Heritage kit.

| Re: [Drums] Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. I don't have my kit set up anymore as I invested in a nice little TD12, but heres what it looked like before I stacked it away. |

| Re: [Drums] Right, Mon, Pics of Your Kit. right, my Mapex Black Panther Limited Edition snare. only 150 made i believe, this being number 101. sounds really fat and the 3 mil hoops really help the articulation of the drum although they blast sticks to pieces |
